I want to download my Norton product on my device

Protecting your devices and managing your Norton product is as easy as adding a new device in your Norton account. Follow these instructions to install or reinstall your Norton product that is registered to your account.

If you have received your Norton product from your service provider, then read Downloading and installing your Norton product from a service provider.

Download and install your Norton product on your computer

On the computer you want to install on, go to https://norton.com/setup.

If you do not have a Norton account, click and then complete the sign-up process.

Sign in if you already have a Norton account.

In the window, make sure the product name that is displayed is the one you want to install, click.

If you want to install a new product, not listed in the window, click, and then enter the product key or PIN to begin the download.

Do one of the following depending on your browser:

For Internet Explorer: Click.

For Firefox or Safari: On the top-right corner of the browser, click the Download option to view the downloaded files, and double-click the file that you downloaded.

For Chrome: On the bottom-left corner, double-click the file that you downloaded.

If the User Account Control window appears, click.

Follow the on-screen instructions.

I want to transfer my Norton license to a new device

If your Norton product is installed on a device that you no longer use, you can transfer your Norton products from one device to another device from your Norton account.

Sign In to Norton.

In the Services page, select your Norton product for which you want to transfer the license.

Under Manage My Installs, click the trashcan icon under Remove License next to the device you no longer use.

When you purchase a Norton product from Norton Online Store, you are asked to enter your email address and password. If you enter an incorrect password, your order cannot be saved in your account. When you sign on to your Norton account, you will see Please confirm your purchase message and will be prompted to save the order to continue with the installation.

When you are directed to the Authorization Pending page, select, and then click.

Type your order number, or the serial number of the product in your order.

If you have multiple products, you will only need to provide the serial number for one of the products in your order.

Click.

I want to install my Norton Product on a different device

You can send yourself an email with instructions to add a device and to install your Norton product on the device.

Go to https://norton.com/setup.

If you do not have a Norton account, click and complete the sign-up process.

Sign in if you already have a Norton account.

Click tab.

Enter an email address you can access on your device and click the send button.

If you already have a product registered, you will be prompted to download the registered product. Click and then enter the product key to proceed with the download process.

An email will be sent to the email address with instructions to install the Norton product.

On the device where you want to download Norton, locate and open the email that you received from The Norton Team.

Click.

Save the file on your computer and double-click the file to install your Norton product. By default, the file will be saved in the Downloads folder on both Mac and Windows computers.

Norton AntiVirus for Mac cannot be managed through your Norton account.

I want to download and install from my mobile device

If you are not currently on your mobile device you can sign in at norton.com/setup on your device to start the download. If you are on your mobile device right now, follow the steps below to download:

For Android devices: Go to Norton Mobile Security page.

You are redirected to the Google Play page for Norton Mobile Security. Download and install the Norton app from Google Play.

For an iPhone or iPad: Go to Norton Mobile Security page. Download and install the Norton app from the App Store.

You are redirected to the App Store page for Norton Mobile Security. Download and install the Norton app from the App Store.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the activation process.

When prompted use your email address and password registered with Norton to sign in.
